Exclusive ventilator-dependent care
Oak Forest is the only long-term care nursing facility in Forsyth County to offer ventilator-dependent care for those residents who are non-weanable, ventilator-dependent. Directed by a specially trained pulmonologist who works collaboratively with the medical director to provide holistic care, this highly specialized care is provided by nurses and respiratory therapists on a separate 18-bed unit.
On-site therapists
Oak Forest has therapists on-site in physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies. Residents receive continuous around-the-clock care from on-site professionals who are key members of each resident’s interdisciplinary care planning team.
